The correct adjustment of light of headlights is of great importance for traffic safety. Exact adjustment is possible only by means of the special device.
At adjustment of light of headlights adjustment and fog lights is made.

For adjustment of light of headlights screws access to which is possible through openings in the top part of a headlight (And – the horizontal plane, In – the vertical plane, With – a bias of 1,2 %, i.e. 12 cm on 10 m of distance) are used. |
At adjustment of light of headlights should be satisfied the following conditions:
– pressure in tires should be within norm;
– in the car there should be only a driver;
– fuels in a fuel tank there should be more, than 90 %;
– the car should stand on wheels on an equal horizontal surface;
– before adjustment it is necessary to shake a car body in order that all elements of a suspension bracket rose on the places;
– the proof-reader of light of headlights establish in situation 0;
– adjustment is made only a passing beam of headlights. The inclination of a light stream of headlights makes 12 cm at distance of 10 m, i.e. 1,2 %. |
