14.8. Replacement of bulbs of external lighting
GENERAL INFORMATION
Prevention

Before replacement of a bulb of external lighting remove a weight wire from the accumulator. Remember that if the bulb just burned, it can be too hot.

Before replacement of a bulb of external lighting check the corresponding electric chain and a safety lock. Do not concern a glass flask of a lamp barehanded. The fingerprint evaporates and besieged on a reflector therefore lighting worsens. Surely replace the failed lamps with lamps of the same type. Spots arising on imprudence from touches wipe a pure bezvorsovy rag or alcohol.

In H7 filament lamps an elevated pressure and they can burst at replacement therefore at replacement of these lamps it is necessary to put on gloves and goggles.

LAMP OF THE PASSING BEAM

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. From a reverse side of a headlight wring out a bow-shaped spring clamp (shooter) and remove a protective cap from a headlight.
3. Remove the electric socket (1) from a lamp of a passing beam (4) (2 – a spring wire bracket, 3 – a basic ledge).
4. Press a spring wire bracket (2) and take it from under a basic ledge (3) and move a spring bracket aside (see fig. 14.24).
5. Take a bulb from a headlight.
6. At installation of a bulb do not concern a glass cylinder of a bulb hands.
7. Establish a new bulb so that the adjusting nouse of a tarelchaty flange got to reflector dredging.
8. Fix a bulb a spring bracket, having fixed it for a basic ledge.
9. Connect to a bulb the electric socket.
10. Establish a back plastic cover of a headlight and fix it a spring clamp.
11. Check and, if necessary, adjust light of headlights.
12. Close a cowl.

LAMP OF THE DRIVING BEAM OF HEADLIGHTS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. From a reverse side of a headlight release the spring clamp, fixing the top part of a casing of a lamp of a driving beam. Release the lower part of a casing and remove it from a headlight.
3. Disconnect the electric socket (1) from a lamp of a driving beam (4) (2 – a wire bracket, 3 – a basic ledge).
4. Press a spring wire bracket (2), disconnect it from a basic ledge (3) and reject aside.
5. Take a lamp of a driving beam from a reflector.
6. Do not concern a glass cylinder of a bulb hands.
7. Establish a new bulb so that the adjusting nouse of a tarelchaty flange got to reflector dredging.
8. Fix a bulb a spring bracket, having fixed it for a basic ledge.
9. Connect to a bulb the electric socket.
10. Establish a back plastic cover of a bulb of a driving beam and fix it a spring bracket.
11. Check and, if necessary, adjust light of headlights.
12. Close a cowl.

LAMP OF FORWARD DIMENSIONAL LIGHT

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. Remove a plastic casing of a bulb of a driving beam.
3. Take from a reflector a cartridge with a bulb of forward dimensional light.
4. Having pulled for a bulb, take it from the holder of a lamp.
5. Establish a new bulb, having pressed it in the holder of a lamp.
6. Insert against the stop a cartridge with a bulb into a headlight reflector.
7. Establish a plastic casing of a bulb of a driving beam.
8. Close a cowl.

LAMP OF THE FORWARD INDEX OF TURNS

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. Remove a casing of a bulb of a passing beam of headlights.
3. Turn a cartridge with a bulb counter-clockwise and take it from a headlight.
4. Press and in this situation turn a bulb counter-clockwise for extraction it from the boss.
5. Insert a new bulb into a cartridge, press and in this situation turn a bulb clockwise before fixing it in the boss.
6. Insert a cartridge with a bulb into the case of a headlight and turn clockwise before fixing.
7. Establish a plastic casing of a bulb of a passing beam.
8. Close a cowl.

FORWARD ANTIFOG BULB

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. Remove a plastic casing of a bulb of a passing beam.
3. Disconnect the electric socket (1) from a forward antifog lamp (4) (2 – a spring bracket, 3 – a basic ledge).
4. Press a spring wire bracket (2), take it from a basic ledge (3) and move aside.
5. Take a forward fog light from a reflector.
6. Establish a new bulb so that the adjusting nouse of a tarelchaty flange got to reflector dredging.
7. Fix a bulb a spring wire bracket.
8. Connect the electric socket of a bulb.
9. Establish a plastic casing of a bulb of a passing beam.
10. Close a cowl.

LAMP OF THE LATERAL REPEATER OF TURNS
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Being careful, shift the repeater of turns forward and take it from a wing (1 – a fixing uvula, 2 – a support).
2. Take a cartridge with a bulb from the lateral repeater of turns.
3. Take from the boss a faulty lamp and insert a new lamp into a cartridge.
4. Insert a cartridge with a lamp into the lateral repeater of turns before fixing.
5. At first insert the lateral repeater of turns by a support into a back part of an opening of a body and then press on it before its complete fixing.

BULBS OF BACK LAMPS

Arrangement of lamps in a back lamp

 1–stoplight lamp;

2–lamp of the index of turns;

3–lamp of dimensional lighting;

4–lamp of antifog light (only on the one hand car);

5–backing lamp

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a back door.
2. Open a lateral trunk lid. For this purpose turn both locks counter-clockwise and open a cover.
3. Disconnect the electric socket from a lampoderzhatel.
4. Press both spring clips in the direction to the middle of a lampoderzhatel (arrow) and take a lampoderzhatel.
5. Press and in this situation turn counter-clockwise a faulty bulb for extraction it from the boss of a lampoderzhatel.
6. Insert a new bulb into a cartridge of a lampoderzhatel, press and in this situation turn clockwise before bulb fixing.
7. Insert a lampoderzhatel into place, thus clips will automatically fix it.
8. Connect the electric socket to a lampoderzhatel.
9. Close a lateral cover of a luggage compartment.
10. Close a back door.

LAMP OF ILLUMINATION OF REGISTRATION PLATE

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew screws of fastening of glass of a lamp and carefully hook glass.
2. Take a faulty lamp from the holder and insert a new lamp.
3. Insert lamp glass into the corresponding opening, thus watch the correct provision of a rubber sealant and a lamp. The protective strip from dazzle of silver color (it is specified by an arrow) should settle down to the forward party of the car.
4. Carefully tighten screws of fastening of glass of a lamp.
