14.21. Check of a heater of back glass

GENERAL INFORMATION

The heater of back glass represents a set of the horizontal conductors which have been raised dust on an internal surface of back glass.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For detection of a rupture of the conductor of a heater of back glass include ignition and the switch of a heater of back glass.
2. Connect one щуп the voltmeter to mass of the car, and the second щуп wrap up a foil and move a foil on the heater conductor.
3. Connect щуп the voltmeter in the center of each conductor of a heater of back glass. If the voltmeter shows tension about 5 In, means, the conductor of a heater is serviceable. If the voltmeter shows tension 0 In or 12 In, means, there is a rupture of the conductor of a heater.
4. For detection of a place of a rupture of the conductor of a heater connect one щуп the voltmeter to the positive plug of a heater, and the second щуп move on the heater conductor from the negative plug of a heater. The point in which the tension shown by the voltmeter, will fall from several volts to zero, and is a place of a rupture of the conductor of a heater.
