2.1.4.2. Head of the block of cylinders of the engine

2.1.4.2.1. Removal

GENERAL INFORMATION

Head of the block of cylinders of the engine 1,4-I

1–top part of a casing of a gear belt;
2–main gear belt.
Check a condition of a gear belt. The direction of rotation of a gear belt should not change. Do not bend a gear belt;
3–auxiliary gear belt. The direction of rotation of an auxiliary gear belt should not change;
4–a bolt, 10 Nanometers + to tighten on a corner 90 °. At installation it is necessary to use new bolts;
5–casing of high-voltage wires;
6–camshaft case. At installation it is necessary to put on a surface interfaced to a head of the block of cylinders a thin layer of VW-AMV 188 003 hermetic. Installation of the case of a camshaft make strictly vertically;
7–bolt, 10 Nanometers;
8–pin;
9–yoke. Before installation grease working surfaces of a yoke;
  10-a supporting element. With hydraulic adjustment of klapanny gaps. Installation of supporting elements make strictly on the places;
11-bolt of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders. At installation it is necessary to use new bolts. A tightening of bolts make in the same sequence, as well as on the engine 1,6-/1,8-I;
12-head of the block of cylinders;
13-laying of a head of the block of cylinders. At installation it is necessary to use new laying;
14-tension roller of a connecting gear belt;
15-bolt, 20 Nanometers;
16-back casing of a gear belt;
17-bolt, 20 Nanometers;

Prevention

The general operations on removal of a head of the block of cylinders are given in subsection 2.1.3.3.1. The operations concerning the engine 1,4-I are given in this subsection only.


On the engine 1,4-I camshafts are established in the case of camshafts separate of a head.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove both gear driving belts.
2. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the valve of the direction of exhaust gases (1), and also a bolt (2) fastenings of an arm of the electric socket.
3. Unscrew a back casing of a gear belt.
4. Gradually and consistently outside inside weaken, and then unscrew bolts of fastening of the case of camshafts.
5. Remove the case of camshafts. Remove yokes together with a supporting element and arrange them so that at assembly they rose on the places.
6. Weaken a collar and remove from the thermostat case a hose of system of the cooling, going to the water pump.
