1.3.16.1. Check of dustproof covers of hinges of a forward suspension bracket
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports, thus wheels should be groundless.
2. Shine with a portable lamp dustproof covers of the bottom hinges of a forward suspension bracket (shooter) and check their condition.
3. Shine with a portable lamp a dustproof cover of a tip of steering draft (shooter) and check their condition.
4. Any wear of these covers will lead to loss of lubricant and water and dirt hit that conducts to fast wear of spherical hinges or steering transfer. In the presence of defects, with a view of safety, with the Volkswagen service stations replace the corresponding hinge with a dustproof cover.
