1.3.13. Maple belts
GENERAL INFORMATION

Maple belts concern one of the details of the car most strained in the course of operation. Therefore especially high demands are made to quality of maple belts.

At replacement of a maple belt it is absolutely not enough to put the first belt of the same size. For safety reasons it is necessary to apply only original maple belts Volkswagen.

On some engines wear-resistant maple belts with ribs which demand only check of their condition during planned technical service and, if necessary, tension adjustment are applied.
