1. Weaken bolts of fastening of a forward right wheel and tighten the hand brake, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. Remove the right forward wheel. |

2. Using a calliper, measure thickness of a brake shoe (a). Minimum admissible thickness of a brake shoe together with a bearing plate – 7 mm. |
3. If the overlay of a brake shoe is worn-out till the minimum thickness, it is necessary to replace all four brake shoes as a set. |
4. Establish wheels and lower the car. |
Prevention
According to empirical dependence, at run of 1000 km wear of a brake shoe makes 1 mm.
