Cars with anti-blocking system (ABS) can be in addition equipped with antiprobuksovochny system (APS).
On the APS front-wheel cars prevents pro-slipping of driving wheels at sharp accelerations by automatic decrease in capacity developed by the engine. At all speeds of movement APS works together with ABS. At failure of ABS APS work is broken also.
APS joins automatically after engine start. If necessary this system can be switched off by key pressing and is again included.
At the switched-off system the control lamp of ASR burns.
Usually APS always is included. Only in certain exceptional cases when pro-slipping of wheels is desirable, it is preferable to switch off system, for example:
– at movement with antisliding chains;
– at movement on deep snow or on friable soil;
– when rocking the got stuck car.
After overcoming of such sites it is necessary to include antiprobuksovochny system again.
For ensuring trouble-free operation of APS it is necessary, that all wheels were dressed in identical tires. Distinction of ways of a running in of tires can lead to undesirable decrease in capacity developed by the engine.
Prevention
Style of driving should correspond to a condition of a paving and traffic conditions always. The increased safety reached thanks to this antiprobuksovochny system cars should not be the cause for risky driving!
Thanks to antiprobuksovochny system under adverse road conditions it is essentially facilitated or in general there is possible a car troganiye from a place, car acceleration, overcoming of steep slopes.
