1.1.38. Cruise control

GENERAL INFORMATION

For release of the driver from need a pedal of an accelerator to support desirable speed of movement cruise control which provides constancy of the set speed above 30 km/h if only the engine can provide it serves.

Prevention

Cruise control should not be included at intense movement and in adverse road conditions (a road icing, a bad continence of the wet road, a gravel covering).

At included cruise control do not transfer the gear shifting lever to neutral situation without coupling switching off! Otherwise the engine will gather very big turns and it can lead under known circumstances to its breakage!

On cars with an automatic transmission cruise control functions only when the selector is in positions "D", "3" and "2". If during movement any other position (by "R", "N", "R" is chosen or "1"), the last set size of speed from memory is erased and cruise control is completely switched off.
