The sensor of a rain is located in the rear-view mirror basis. After the rain beginning the sensor automatically includes windscreen screen wipers. The precondition of automatic inclusion of a screen wiper is that screen wipers should be included in a faltering mode.
The sensor of a rain shines a windscreen with a light-emitting diode. At dry glass the beam of a light-emitting diode is reflected from a surface of glass and fixed by the photo diode. If the windscreen crude, a ray of light is reflected to a lesser extent. Light reflection depends on a windscreen at most a rain.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Separate from each other casings (1 and 5) the bases of a rear-view mirror and remove them. |
| 2. Take the electric socket (4) of an arm of a mirror (3) and disunite it. |
| 3. Moving down, disconnect a mirror arm from a support. |

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
