13.28. Removal and installation of a forward seat

GENERAL INFORMATION

Elements of fastening of forward sitting

1–cap;
2–screw;
3–internal directing sitting;
4–cap;
5–screw;
6–external directing sitting;

And, In – sequence of removal of a decorative slip with internal directing sitting;
With, D – sequence of removal of a decorative slip external directing sitting;
7–bolts of fastening of sitting, 23 Nanometers

Arrangement of electric sockets on forward sitting with a safety cushion

1–electric socket of a safety cushion;

2–holder of electric sockets;

3–electric socket of heating of sitting;

4–electric socket of an adapter of VAG-5094;

5–a nest of the electric socket on forward sitting

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For removal of forward sitting it is necessary to use a special adapter of VAG-5094 for safety cushions.

2. Switch off ignition and remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

3. Move forward sitting against the stop forward. Remove a cap and unscrew the screw of fastening of a decorative slip internal directing sitting.

4. Remove a decorative slip internal directing forward sitting for what raise a back part of an overlay (arrow A) and, moving back a slip (arrow B), remove it with directing (see fig. Elements of fastening of forward sitting).

5. Remove a cap and unscrew the screw of fastening of an external decorative slip directing sitting.

6. Remove a decorative slip with external directing forward sitting for what raise a forward part of a slip (the shooter C) and, moving it back (arrow D), remove it from the directing.

7. Move forward sitting against the stop back.

8. Unscrew bolts (7) fastenings of forward sitting. Moving back, release forward sitting from directing and take it from car salon.

Prevention

Before a detachment of electric sockets of system of an airbag of safety of forward sitting remove from a body a static electricity for what for short time touch hands a body.

Disconnect the electric socket of a lateral safety cushion (1) from the socket (2) basis (see fig. An arrangement of electric sockets on forward sitting with a safety cushion).

At existence disconnect the electric socket (3) heatings of forward sitting.

Connect the electric socket (4) adapters of VAG-5094 to the electric socket (5).

The electric socket of an adapter of VAG-5094 should be connected to the socket all the time while forward sitting is removed.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

2. Tighten bolts of fastening of forward sitting the moment of 25 Nanometers.

3. Connect a weight wire to the accumulator.

4. If the control lamp of a safety cushion after installation of forward sitting burns that testifies to malfunction existence, it is necessary to address in a specialized workshop for a call from memory of the block of the malfunctions written down in it.
