| 1. Open a cowl and enclose pure rags under cowl corners to protect a paint and varnish covering of the car at cowl removal. |
| 2. Disconnect a hose from a nozzle of a washer and electric sockets. |
| 3. Adhere to a hose and the electric socket a thin long cord. |
| 4. Extend from a cowl electroconducting and a hose and untie from them a cord, leaving it in a cowl. Further the cord is required for a tightening in an electroconducting and hose cowl. |
| 5. Take a casing of the hinge (14) of spring clips of the right hinge of a cowl. |
| 6. Using a marker, note position of hinges on a cowl. |
| 7. Ask the assistant to support a cowl in open situation and disconnect from a cowl a pneumatic rack of a cowl. |
| 8. For this purpose an edge of a screw-driver raise a spring bracket and remove the top part of a rack from the spherical hinge on a cowl. |
| 9. If it is necessary to remove a pneumatic support of a cowl from the car, similarly remove the lower part of a support. |
| 10. At removal of a pneumatic support of a cowl do not take completely spring bracket from the spherical hinge, otherwise the spring bracket will be deformed and it is necessary to make replacement of a pneumatic support. |
| 11. Unscrew bolts of fastening of the left and right hinges of a cowl and, being careful, remove a cowl. |
| 12. Check a condition of hinges of a cowl on existence люфта and wear and, if necessary, replace them. |
