13.12. Cowl lock

13.12.1. Removal and installation
GENERAL INFORMATION

Elements of fastening of a cable of the lock of a cowl
1–cable of opening of the lock of a cowl;
2–sealing plug;
3–nut;
4–lever of opening of the lock of a cowl;
 5–the self-cutting screw;
6–arm;
7–holder of a cable of opening of the lock of a cowl;
8–cowl lock

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a front grille.
2. Remove a front bumper.
3. Unscrew 5 bolts (arrow), (1) lock of a cowl fixing an arm to a forward cross-piece (2).
4. Remove an arm of the lock of a cowl.
5. Using an edge of a screw-driver (3), disconnect a cable (2) locks of a cowl (1) of spring clips (cтрелка – the direction of a detachment of a cable of the lock of a cowl).
6. Disconnect the electric socket for the microswitch.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
