Arrangement of a lateral safety cushion in a back of forward sitting
Together with safety cushions of the driver and the forward passenger in forward seats lateral safety cushions are established. The volume of lateral safety cushions makes 12 l.
Lateral safety cushions are located in backs of forward seats and protect the driver and the passenger at lateral collisions.
Depending on the direction of blow work only those safety cushions which are most close to a blow point.
The lateral blow is defined by the sensor which is located under forward sitting. On the basis of information from this sensor the control unit defines force of blow and, if necessary, includes the corresponding safety cushion.
