13.5. Forward panel of a body
GENERAL INFORMATION

Elements of fastening of the forward panel of a body
1–a forward cross-piece with
constructive details;
2–bolts of 2 pieces, 8 Nanometers;
3–cable of opening of the lock of a cowl;
4–the channel in the lateral panel;
5–radiator and condenser;
6–bolts of 4 pieces, 8 Nanometers;
 7–bumper beam;
8–bolts of 4 pieces, 50 Nanometers;
9–special tool 3411. In the absence of the special tool it is possible to use a bolt of M of 8х160 mm. Under a head of a bolt it is necessary to establish a washer in diameter of 35 mm

Installation of the forward cross-section panel in service situation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a front bumper.
2. Disconnect a cable of the lock of opening of a cowl from the cowl lock.
3. From the right and left side of the forward panel unscrew two bolts (8) and instead of bolts screw in the VW-3411 tool.
4. Unscrew the bolts, a fixing top and forward part of the forward panel.
5. Move the forward panel forward on the special VW-3411 tool.

Removal of a forward cross-piece

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a cable of the lock of opening of a cowl from the cowl lock.
2. Disconnect the electric socket.
3. Disconnect electric sockets from headlights.
4. Remove a front bumper.
5. At existence disconnect a hose of a washer of headlights from T-shaped............
6. Unscrew a radiator and the condenser from a forward cross-piece and, using a soft wire, fix them on the engine.
Prevention

Do not bend condenser pipelines.
7. Remove a forward cross-piece.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a forward cross-piece.
2. Adjust the provision of a forward cross-piece in relation to wings of the car and fix a forward cross-piece bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment.
3. Establish a radiator and the condenser and fix them bolts.
4. Establish a front bumper and connect a hose to a washer of headlights.
5. Connect a cable of the lock of opening of a cowl.
6. Connect electric sockets.
