1.1.42.3. Amplifier of a brake drive (the vacuum amplifier of brakes)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The amplifier of a brake drive works with use of the vacuum which is creating only in operating time of the engine. Therefore never practise car movement by inertia with the switched-off engine.

If the amplifier of a brake drive does not function, for example, at towage of the car or at malfunction of the amplifier, it is necessary to press much more strongly a brake pedal to compensate absence of additional effort to the brake drive, the amplifier created at normal work.
