4.1.5. Remote check of elements of fuel system

GENERAL INFORMATION

Remote check of the fuel pump

1–pressure sensor;
2–tightening contact;
3–an additional wire with the fuse on 8 And;

4–flat contact of the electric socket;
5–two-core wire

Remote check is required in case the fuel pump with an electric drive should work without engine start.

For remote check the following elements are required:

– pressure sensor;
– tightening contact (crocodile);
– a wire with the fuse on 8 And;
– flat electric contact;
– two-core wire section ^{1,5 mm2} and length about 5 m.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take the fuse No. 28 for the fuel pump in the block of safety locks.

2. Connect flat contact of remote check to fuse contacts in the block of safety locks.

3. At involvement of the sensor of pressure of remote control the fuel pump should start to work.
