4.1.4. Removal and installation of the case of the air filter
GENERAL INFORMATION

ENGINES 1,6-/1,8-/2,3-I

The air filter on cars with engines 1,6-/1,8-/2,3-I


1–air inlet branch pipe;

2–electric socket;

4, 5 – a bolt

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a branch pipe of an air inlet (1) and the electric socket (2) from an air flowmeter.
2. Unscrew bolts (4 and 5) and remove the case of the air filter.
3. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

Screws of fastening are shown by shooters.

1–cap;

2–accelerator cable;

3–hose of ventilation of a case;

4–air inlet of warmed-up air

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Using a screw-driver edge, remove a cap (1) closing the screw.
2. Release spring clamps and disconnect an accelerator cable from the case of the air filter.
3. Disconnect a hose of ventilation of a case from the top part of the case of the air filter.
4. Disconnect a hose of supply of warmed-up air.
5. Unscrew screws and remove the case of the air filter.
6. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
