PERFORMANCE ORDER

Prevention

Surely make replacement of all blocks on one axis of the car even if the limit of wear were reached by one block. If blocks are repeatedly established, before removal they are necessary for marking.


1. Clear a brake drum, brake shoes and a brake board.

Prevention

At work of brake shoes the brake dust which contains asbestos is formed, unhealthy therefore when cleaning brake shoes do not use the compressed air and do not inhale a dust.


2. Remove a cuff from the working brake cylinder and if it damp, it is necessary to repair or replace it. At removal of a cuff do not take the piston from the working brake cylinder.
3. Measure internal diameter of a brake drum. If wear of a drum reached limiting values, replace both back brake drums.
4. Fix in a vice a brake shoe, establish a tension spring (1) on a razzhimny level (2) and a forward brake shoe and dress a razzhimny level on a brake shoe (3 – a wedge, 3438 – the adaptation for installation of a clamping spring).
5. Establish a brake shoe with the lever of the hand brake in a razzhimny level.
6. Establish the top returnable spring.
7. Establish a spring of a tension of a wedge.
8. Connect a cable of the hand brake to the lever of the hand brake on a brake shoe.
9. Establish the top part of brake shoes in grooves on pistons of the working brake cylinder.
10. Establish the bottom returnable spring on brake shoes, then establish the lower part of blocks on a support of blocks.
11. Establish holding pins, press springs and cups.
12. Press a cup, thus hold from the back party of the brake board, holding pins, and turn a cup on 90 ° before its accurate fixing.
13. Move a wedge up to create the maximum gap of brake shoes.
14. Establish a brake drum on a nave and fix it the screw.
15. Press once a brake pedal to establish a demanded gap of brake shoes.
16. Adjust cables of the hand brake.
17. Establish wheels and lower the car.
18. Repeat these operations on the second back wheel.

Check of control of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check, whether brake hoses are reliably tightened.
2. Check, whether the brake hose in the holder is fixed.
3. Check, whether pumping unions are reliably tightened.
4. Check, whether level of brake liquid is sufficient.
5. Check make at the working engine. During about 10 seconds press a brake pedal with effort of 20-30 kg/m, thus the pedal should not fail.
6. Check tightness of all listed connections.
