12.5. Replacement of back brake shoes on disk brakes

12.5.1. Removal
GENERAL INFORMATION

Disk brake mechanism of a back wheel of front-wheel cars
1–the screw with crosswise shlitsy, 4 Nanometers;
2–brake disk. In need of replacement replace both back brake disks. Before removal of a brake disk it is necessary to remove a support;
3–protective cap. At installation it is necessary to use a new protective cap;
4–самоконтрящаяся dvenadtsatigranny nut, 175 Nanometers. At installation it is necessary to use a new nut;
5–a wheel nave with the bearing;
6–bolt, 60 Nanometers. It is necessary to establish a bolt with a tarelchaty spring washer;
7–partition;
8–nave pin;
 9–cable of the hand brake;
10-back beam;
11-ABS sensor;
12-the screw with an internal shestigrannik;
13-a bolt with an internal shestigrannik, 65 Nanometers;
14-holder of a support;
15-brake hose. The brake hose fastens a hollow bolt with sealing rings. The tightening of a bolt is made by the moment of 35 Nanometers;
16-самоконтрящийся bolt, 35 Nanometers. At installation it is necessary to use a new bolt;
17-support;
18-brake shoes;
19-spring latches
Prevention

Surely make replacement of all blocks on one axis of the car even if the limit of wear were reached by only one block. If blocks are repeatedly established, before removal they are necessary for marking.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening of back wheels, then lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove back wheels.
3. Completely release the lever of the hand brake. Remove the spring clip (1), fixing a cover of a cable of the hand brake (3). Press the lever (2) in the direction of an arrow and disconnect a cable of the hand brake from the lever.
4. Unscrew the top and bottom bolts of fastening of a support. When unscrewing bolts of fastening of a support hold directing finger with a wrench. Do not disconnect from a support a brake hose.
5. Remove a support and, using a soft wire, tie up it to a body. Thus do not stretch and do not overwind a brake hose.
6. Remove from the holder of a support brake shoes and spring latches.
