12.9. Removal and installation of the back working brake cylinder

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove brake shoes.
2. Weaken a cap nut of the brake pipeline from a reverse side of the wheel brake cylinder.
3. Unscrew two bolts, fixing the wheel brake cylinder to a brake board.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put pure rags under a brake board.
2. Completely unscrew a connecting nut of the pipeline from the brake cylinder and at once screw it on the new brake cylinder. It provides insignificant loss of brake liquid.
3. Establish the working brake cylinder on a brake board and fix bolts, having tightened them the moment of 8 Nanometers.
4. Tighten the connecting nut, fixing the pipeline to the working brake cylinder the moment of 5 Nanometers.
5. Establish brake shoes.
6. Remove air from brake system. Thus, as a rule, it is enough to pump over only that cylinder which was replaced.
