9.1.1. Amortization rack

9.1.1.1. Removal

GENERAL INFORMATION

Amortization rack of a forward suspension bracket

1–самоконтрящаяся nut, 60 Nanometers. At installation it is necessary to use
new самоконтрящуюся nut;
2–emphasis;
3–fastening of an amortization rack;
4–nut, 60 Nanometers;
5–bearing of an amortization rack;
6–axial spherical support;
7–protective sleeve;
8–plate of a spring;
9–screw spring. At replacement
it is necessary to use a spring with
same color marking;
10-самоконтрящаяся a nut, 50 Nanometers + to tighten on 90 °. At installation it is necessary to use new самоконтрящуюся a nut. Probably dovorachivany nuts on a corner from 90 ° to 120 °;
11-rotary fist;
12-bolt. At installation it is necessary to use a new bolt;
13-shock-absorber. Replacement of shock-absorbers is necessary for making in pairs;
14-buffer;
15-protective cover

1–bolts of fastening of the bottom spherical hinge;

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening of forward wheels, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove forward wheels.
3. Unscrew two bolts (2), fixing a support of a forward brake (see fig. Lower part of a forward suspension bracket). Without disconnecting a brake hose from a support, using a soft wire, suspend a support to a body. Thus a brake hose do not stretch and do not overwind.
4. Unscrew a bolt (4), fixing connecting draft (3) to the bottom lever (see fig. Lower part of a forward suspension bracket).
5. Disconnect a wire of the sensor of turns from an amortization rack.

6. Remove the bottom mudguard of a motor compartment.
7. Unscrew the right power shaft from a transmission.
8. Unscrew a nut and take tightening a bolt of the bottom fastening of an amortization rack to a rotary fist.
9. Using an edge of a big screw-driver or mount, unclench a crack in a rotary fist. At the same time the assistant should press a brake disk down for removal of a rotary fist from an amortization rack. For a release of a crack of an amortization rack it is possible to use the special VW 3424 tool or the tool made independently (and = 8 mm, b = 5,5 mm).
10. Holding from a provorachivaniye a shock-absorber rod the bent six-sided key of 7 mm (1) or a key 2593-21, unscrew самоконтрящуюся a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber.
11. Being careful, take from under a car wing an amortization rack.
