Dismantling of an amortization rack

1–the adaptation for spring compression;
2–the tool for unscrewing

1. Remove an amortization rack.
2. Establish adaptation captures for spring compression on extreme rounds of a spring of an amortization rack and compress the adaptation so that rounds of a spring departed from basic plates of a spring (see fig. Dismantling of an amortization rack).


At installation of captures on rounds of a spring watch, that captures were reliably fixed on a spring and did not come off at spring compression. A spring compress evenly from two parties. At all do not pull together spring rounds with a wire as the effort of compression of a spring very big and exists danger of accident.

3. Holding a rod of an amortization rack with the bent wrench of 7 mm from a provorachivaniye, unscrew самоконтрящуюся a nut.


The central nut of fastening can be unscrewed only at the compressed spring.

4. Remove all details of a rack and take the shock-absorber from a spring.
5. If it is required to replace only a spring, slowly unclench it. If the shock-absorber is replaced only, the spring remains compressed.
6. Check all elements of an amortization rack on wear, damages or deformation. Check smoothness of a course of a rod of the shock-absorber.
7. Check the shock-absorber on tightness, and also its rod on dot corrosion on all length. In the presence of defects the shock-absorber will lie down to replacement.
8. Cylindrical springs are identified by color labels and if it is necessary to replace a spring, both springs are desirable to replace at the same time.


The new spring has an anticorrosive varnish covering. Before installation of a spring check integrity of a covering and, if necessary, tint a spring.


1. If the new spring is established, compress it the adaptation for spring compression.
2. Establish all details of an amortization rack on the shock-absorber.
3. The bottom round of a spring establish so that it correctly took place in the bottom plate of a spring.
4. Screw a six-sided nut (see fig. An amortization rack of a forward suspension bracket) on a shock-absorber rod also tighten it the moment of 60 Nanometers. For deduction of a rod of the shock-absorber from a provorachivaniye use the bent six-sided key of 7 mm.
5. Slowly unclench the adaptation for spring compression. Check, that extreme rounds of a spring correctly settled down in plates of a spring.
6. Establish an amortization rack.
