Arrangement of elements of management of the diesel engine in a motor compartment of the car with the diesel TDI engine
1–the valve for a retsirkulyatsiya of the fulfilled gases;
2–the switching valve of an inlet collector;
3–a fuel nozzle with the needle motion sensor;
4–control unit. For the diesel engine with system of direct injection. The sensor of height is integrated in the control unit;
5–the management valve for a retsirkulyatsiya of exhaust gases;

Check conditions
Tension of an onboard network of the car should be not lower than 11,5 Century.
The control unit the engine should be in a normal state.
Safety locks in a chain of giving of tension to glow plugs should be serviceable.

| 1. Switch off ignition. |
|
2. Disconnect the electric socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (And – the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid, 1, 3 – contacts of the electric socket). |
| 3. In this condition the control system of the engine considers that the engine cold and at inclusion of ignition will occur preliminary warming up of the diesel engine. |
| 4. Disconnect electric sockets from incandescence candles. |
| 5. Turn on the voltmeter between one of sockets of candles of an incandescence and mass of the car. |
| 6. Include ignition. Thus the voltmeter should show that within 20 seconds tension to glow plugs moves. |
| 7. Otherwise check an electric power-supply circuit of candles of an incandescence, find and eliminate malfunction. |
