4.2.10. Main malfunctions of a control system of the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before determination of malfunctions be convinced that fuel is available in a fuel tank in enough, the engine has no mechanical defects, the accumulator is charged and the starter turns a cranked shaft of the engine with sufficient speed, the system of ignition is serviceable, the fuel system is tight and in it there are no pollution, a hose of ventilation of a case pure and the tire of grounding of the power unit is reliably connected.

Previously check malfunctions the control systems written down in memory of the engine.

REASON	ELIMINATION METHOD
The complicated start of the engine or the engine is not started absolutely
The system of preliminary warming up of the diesel engine does not work	Check and, if necessary, restore operability of system of preliminary heating of the diesel engine
The valve of an otsechka of fuel does not open	Check the valve of an otsechka of fuel of a control unit the engine, and also anticreeping system
Defect in system of supply of fuel	Check system of supply of fuel to the engine
Pipelines of supply of fuel are not tight, blocked inside or deformed	Clean and, if necessary, replace pipelines of supply of fuel
The fuel filter is polluted	Replace the fuel filter
In winter time at the fuel filter there is a water or ice	Warm up the car in heated garage
Ventilation of a fuel tank is hammered or the fuel filter located in a fuel tank is polluted	Clean system of ventilation of a fuel tank or the fuel filter
The moment of injection of fuel is incorrectly adjusted	Check and if necessary adjust the moment of injection of fuel
Fuel nozzles are faulty	Check operability of fuel nozzles
The fuel pump of a high pressure is faulty	Replace the fuel pump of a high pressure
The engine works only at idling turns
Fastening of fuel hoses on the fuel pump of a high pressure or on the fuel filter is weakened	Fix fuel hoses as appropriate
Submitting and returnable fuel hoses on the fuel pump of a high pressure are incorrectly connected	Check correctness of connection of fuel hoses
The increased fuel consumption
The fuel filter is polluted	Replace the fuel filter
The fuel system is not tight	Check and, if necessary, restore tightness of fuel system
The pipeline of return of fuel is polluted	Clean the pipeline of return of fuel
