8.1. Transmission removal
GENERAL INFORMATION

At removal of a transmission it is necessary to lift the car rather highly. Besides, for lowering of a transmission it is necessary to use a special stationary jack. In this section transmission removal on cars with engines 1,8/1,9/2,3 with a drive on forward wheels is given.

Instructions on transmission removal on cars with engines 1,4/1,6-I, and also an automatic transmission are provided in subsection 8.1.2 and subsection 8.2.
