8.4. Removal and installation of the case of the lever of gear shifting
GENERAL INFORMATION

The lever of gear shifting is established in the case. The case of gear shifting is necessary for removing at replacement of the managing director of a cable.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
 
1. On engines 1,8-/1,9-/2,3-I remove an arm of support of an operating cable from a transmission.
2. Since a back part, remove a protective cover of the lever of gear shifting and move it up on the handle (shooters specified a place of the beginning of removal of a protective cover of the lever of gear shifting).
3. Release a clamp (it is specified by an arrow) and remove the gear shifting handle together with a protective cover.
4. In the lower part of the lever of gear shifting remove sound insulation.
5. Disunite a reception exhaust pipe and the average exhaust silencer. Unscrew from a body a cross-section beam of support of an exhaust system and lower it down.
6. Unscrew the thermofilter under the gear shifting lever.
7. Unscrew nuts of fastening of the lever of gear shifting (are specified by shooters).
8. Under the car unscrew two bolts, fixing the case of the lever of gear shifting.
9. Lower the case of the lever of gear shifting down and disconnect from it a cable.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal, taking into account the next moments.
2. If consolidation between the case of the lever of gear shifting and a body is damaged, it is necessary to replace it.
3. Bolts of fastening of the case of the lever of gear shifting tighten the moment of 25 Nanometers.
4. Establish and adjust the provision of an exhaust system.
5. Adjust a gear shifting cable.
