GENERAL INFORMATION

Electric sockets of an automatic transmission

1–ten-contact socket of magnetic valves;

2–sensor of speed of movement;

3–multipurpose switch;

4–sensor of turns of a transmission

Prevention

The main operations on removal and installation of a transmission are stated in subsection 8.1.1. The differences concerning automatic transmissions are given in this section only.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To lower the engine and to connect to a coupling case.
2. Engine support by the crane carry out for the eyes fixed on a head of the block of cylinders or the block of cylinders. Disconnect electric sockets from a transmission (see fig. Electric sockets of an automatic transmission).
3. Using a screw-driver edge, remove a tip of a cable (1) from the lever (4), then release the fixing bracket (3) holding a cover of a cable of management and move a cable aside. Do not unscrew a bolt (2).
4. Unscrew from a transmission an arm of support of the amplifier of a steering.
5. Using clips, for example VW 3094, press the hoses going to an automatic transmission. Weaken collars and disconnect hoses from an automatic transmission.
6. Unscrew four bolts and remove a protective casing of a transmission.
7. Remove a cap and unscrew three nuts of fastening of the converter of a torque. For access to nuts turn a cranked shaft of the engine.
8. Disconnect power shafts from a transmission. At removal of a transmission be careful, that the hydrotransformer did not drop out of a transmission.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of an automatic transmission measure distance between a flange of a transmission and a flange of a bolt which should make about 22 mm. If this distance makes about 10 mm, means, the hydrotransformer is established incorrectly. At incorrectly established hydrotransformer the leading part of the hydrotransformer collapses at transmission installation.
2. Further installation is made in sequence, return to removal taking into account the next moments.
3. For fastening of the converter of a torque it is necessary to use an original nut which is necessary for tightening the moment of 60 Nanometers.
4. For fastening of a support of a transmission it is necessary to use new bolts, having tightened them the demanded moment. A bolt And – 60 Nanometers + to tighten on a corner 90 °. A bolt In – 40 Nanometers + to tighten on a corner 90 °.
5. Adjust a cable of management of an automatic transmission.
6. Check an oil condition in the main transfer and a transmission.
