Tips of steering drafts should not have люфта. In the presence of damages of their protective covers it is necessary to replace immediately. Replacement of tips of steering drafts can be made, without removing steering transfer.
Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Weaken bolts of fastening of a forward wheel, then lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports. |
| 2. Remove a forward wheel. |
| 3. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a spherical tip of steering draft, thus a finger of the hinge hold from a provorachivaniye with a six-sided wrench. |
|
4. Screw together a nut till the end of a carving, but do not unscrew completely, thus it will serve as an emphasis for a stripper (1 – the electric socket of the sensor ABS, A – a stripper of spherical hinges). |
| 5. Disconnect the electric socket of the ABS sensor. |
| 6. Using a stripper of spherical hinges, take the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft from a rotary fist. |
| 7. Unscrew a lock-nut 2 (see fig. Steering transfer), fixing steering draft in relation to a tip of steering draft. |
| 8. Unscrew a tip of steering draft from steering draft, thus count the quantity of turns made by a tip of steering draft. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Screw a tip of steering draft on steering draft on the same quantity of turns, as when unscrewing. |
| 2. Tighten a lock-nut 2 (see fig. Steering transfer) by hand. |
| 3. Insert the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft into a rotary fist and fix its new самоконтрящейся a nut, having tightened it the moment of 45 Nanometers. At a tightening of a nut hold a hinge finger from a provorachivaniye a face six-sided key. |
| 4. Tighten a lock-nut the moment of 50 Nanometers. |
| 5. Connect the electric socket of the ABS sensor. |
| 6. Establish a wheel and fix it bolts. |
| 7. Lower the car on the earth and tighten bolts of fastening the moment of 120 Nanometers. |
| 8. Check and, if necessary, adjust corners of installation of wheels. |
