10.2. Removal and installation of a steering wheel

GENERAL INFORMATION

Steering wheel with four spokes

1–steering wheel;
2–electric socket;
3–fixing brackets. Release of a fixing bracket is made with
reverse side of a steering wheel;
4–safety cushion. The safety cushion and a steering wheel should be one type and one producer;

5–bolt, 75 Nanometers;
6–a bolt with corrugated turnkey dredging, 60 Nanometers. The bolt has a sheeting and no more than five times can be established;
7–plate;
8–returnable contact ring;
10-clamp

1–steering wheel;
2–a bolt with corrugated turnkey deepening, 60 Nanometers.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a safety cushion from the central part of a steering wheel.

2. Establish forward wheels for movement directly forward. Thus a steering wheel should be on the average situation.

3. Unscrew the central bolt of fastening of a steering wheel and remove a steering wheel from a steering shaft.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a steering wheel on a shlitsa of a steering shaft so that labels on a steering wheel and steering to a shaft were combined. At installation of a steering wheel forward wheels of the car should be established in the provision of rectilinear movement, and the switch of turns should be in neutral situation.

2. Fix a steering wheel a bolt with corrugated turnkey deepening and tighten it the moment of 60 Nanometers.

3. In blow of a center punch fix a bolt of fastening of a steering wheel from unscrewing.

4. Carry out a control trip.

5. At car movement in a straight line spokes of a steering wheel should be in horizontal situation.

6. Otherwise remove a steering wheel and at installation displace it in the relevant party. Check and if necessary adjust corners of installation of wheels.

7. Check work of a sound signal and automatic return of the switch of turns to neutral situation after turn passing.
